Judging Criteria For Finalists
All eligible submissions will be judged and ranked using a B.I.G.* Competition panel of judges. Judging criteria include:
- Innovation — 10%
- Utility — 10%
- Satisfies a Market Need — 10%
- Competitive Assessment — 10%
- Commercially Viable — 5%
- Next Steps — 5%
- Presentation — 50%
The finalist submission will be delivered via a presentation to the judging panel. The finalist should use the material submitted for the semi-final round but in a presentation format. The format is up to the finalist and may include a power point presentation, posters, or other format appropriate to the idea. The presentation will comprise 50% of the scoring. Each of the top 4 finalists will receive assistance in preparing the final presentation from the Clarion SBDC. There is no charge for the SBDC assistance.
