Applications will be submitted electronically at www.thebigcompetition.ncentral.com. Applications must be completed and submitted online. An application cover sheet must be printed, signed and mailed along with a $10 entry fee. The narrative description must contain:

• Description of the product, service or process idea and what it does.
• Technical description of how it benefits a customer or business
• Manufacturing or implementation ideas
• A summary of why this idea should win — why is this idea unique

Applications may include up to 3 supporting visuals that illustrate the narrative. No specific visual format is required, but possible formats include scanned drawings, CAD drawings, and photographs. Visuals are to be mailed with the Initial Cover Sheet and is the second part of the initial application, which is submitted electronically. You may have a competitive entry without fully complete answers to all questions, but each element is essential for the semi-final round.
